"The class size is the whole point. Claire actually watches what you're doing and corrects it. Nothing like the bigger reformer places I'd tried before."Small-class client · Google review
Margate's small-class reformer studio. Caps stay small on purpose, private sessions stay private, and the programming is built around the body in front of Claire, not the next class on the timetable.
Claire grew up in South Africa and spent the bulk of her career in corporate London. After years inside the fitness industry on the side, she discovered pilates the way most long-term clients do: as the thing that finally fit. In 2016 she moved her family to Margate and opened the studio she had been quietly designing in her head.
"You will feel welcome and cared for no matter your age, gender, ability, or fitness level."
Fuel Fit is built around that idea. One studio. One founder on the floor. Classes capped small enough that Claire knows your name, your old injuries, and the goal you mentioned three weeks ago.
Margate has plenty of high-throughput reformer chains. Fuel Fit isn't one of them. The format is deliberate, and so is what it gives you back.
Small caps mean Claire watches every rep. Cues land before the form drifts, not after. The class moves with the room rather than to a script written for fifteen strangers.
Modifications are quietly built into every class. Niggling shoulder, pregnancy, post-surgery, the lower back that always flares. Bring it. Claire will program around it.
One-on-one and duet reformer sessions for clients who want full attention. A 30 or 45 minute private with Claire is the fastest way to find what your body needs.
The programming is challenging. Reviewers say so. It also respects the line between effort and damage, which is the line a franchise model is structurally bad at holding.
Capped reformer classes across low-impact, recovery, and the harder "Sweat" sessions. Build strength, mobility, and breath at your level.
One on one with Claire. The fastest way to address a specific injury, technique gap, or training goal on the reformer.
Bring a partner, friend, or training buddy. Two reformers, one instructor, full attention on both bodies.
Three small-group reformer classes for sixty dollars. Designed as the on-ramp for new clients to feel out the studio before committing.
Mobility-led classes for de-load weeks, recovery from harder training, or simply the day your body asks for less.
The higher-intensity reformer session. Same boutique cap, same eyes on your form, more output. For when you want to push.
The cleanest way to find out if Fuel Fit is your studio. Three small-group reformer classes, booked when they suit you, walked through by Claire from the first session. If it isn't a fit, no obligation to continue.
Designed for first-time clients. Use across small-group reformer classes at the Margate studio.

A small reformer studio a few blocks back from the Margate foreshore. Easy parking, neutral light, room enough for the cap and not a body more. Drop in for a look any time the door is open.
Send a short note. Mention your training history, anything your body is currently telling you, and what you want from pilates. Claire will place you in the right class before you pay for the pack.
